Umno’s Nazri Aziz has reignited his war of words with MCA, lashing out at the Barisan Nasional component party for criticising his backing of PAS’s plans for a rally in support of strengthening shariah court powers.
“Who is MCA to talk about this? Do they think that they are a ‘super party’?
“It is so obvious that MCA has a short man’s inferiority complex,” he told FMT when contacted.
Nazri’s scathing remarks come in response to a statement by MCA’s Religious Harmony Bureau chief Ti Lian Ker, who questioned Nazri’s support for the rally earlier today.
Ti, a former Pahang assemblyman, also said Nazri “should be aware that this rally is grounded in religion”.
