RASUAH : SPRM/PDRM PERLU DIBERIKAN KUASA MENYIASAT TANPA PERLU WARAN DAN PERINTAH MAHKAMAH.

Malay rights group Perkasa has called for a draconian set of laws to deal with corruption, which allows police and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to investigate without the need for a warrant or court order.
Its president Ibrahim Ali said the new act, which he named Economic Sabotage Act, could be modelled on the Internal Security Act (ISA), the controversial law which allows detention without trial that was abolished five years ago.
“If there is a big case, like the one involving the director of the Sabah Water Department (JAS), the person can be arrested,” he said, referring to the recent cash stash discovery involving former JAS director Ag Mohd Tahir Ag Mohd Talib and two others.
